UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH CAROLINA

Hickman has played for Coach Allan Sirois and the Gamecocks for all 4 years of his undergraduate studies, and will use his final year of ACHA eligibility during his first year of professional school. He graduated with a double-major in Finance & Real Estate from the Darla Moore School of Business, and is currently a 1L at the University of South Carolina School of Law.

He was named Assistant Captain as a junior and maintained that role throughout his senior year. Hickman also served as Vice President during his sophomore year, and later as Team President for both his junior and senior year.

In the middle of his freshman season at Carolina, Hickman was asked to travel with the Ogden Mustangs of the Western Prospects League (WPL), and soon after competed in the Western States Hockey League (WSHL) Showcase in Las Vegas.

Hickman has made SEC Academic All-Conference in his past 4 years as a Gamecock, in addition to the Dean's List, and was named an ACHA Academic All-American in both his junior and senior seasons.

JUDGE MEMORIAL CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL

At Judge Memorial Catholic High School, Hickman played for former professionals Todd Brown and Roger Rougelot. He was a varsity-starter all 4 years, and captained the squad as a senior. In 2012 and 2013, Hickman picked up back-to-back State Championships, with an impressive record of 32-0-0. He participated in Nationals with Judge Memorial as a freshman. In 2014 and 2015, he was named to the Utah All-Star Team. Hickman was honored as an Academic All-State student all 4 years, and graduated with Honors with a 3.59 GPA.

In his senior year of high school, Hickman joined the Utah Golden Eagles U18 AA travel team where he played for Jay Stevens, and former Dallas Stars forward Greg Leeb. The Eagles participated in the Minnesota Gone Wild Tournament, and later made it to Nationals in Detroit, Michigan where they placed 4th.

Also a talented soccer player, Hickman was the captain of both his club and high school team, and was a 4-year varsity starter. A member of the '96 Utah Olympic Development Team, he was invited to play for the Sheffield Wednesday Academy in England, and later for Wofford College. He declined these offers, and enrolled at the University of South Carolina in Fall 2015.
